The Knight of Tyr Ba'cock
A downloadable game for Windows
Lord Gizzard Blackfeather, the Fowlen One, stole the Holy McGuffin of Cluckenbury. It's up to the noble Sir Cacciatore and his trusty sidekick, Nugget, to make things right.
PLEASE NOTE
Windows Defender might flag this game, as it does many Godot titles. However, downloading the game through the itch.io app doesn't have those issues, and it is the recommended way to play.This game is a dungeon crawler/platformer hybrid.
The themes followed were Fusion and Treasure Hunting. The first one is obvious. For Treasure Hunting, I hid
an optional secret to find in every level.
Crawl Mode
The Knight of Tyr Ba'cock can be controlled with either the keyboard or a gamepad.
Brawl Mode
The world of Cluckenbury is dangerous, and combat will commence when an enemy gets too close. Combat is handled as a platformer section.
The Cluckooken
The Cluckooken will automatically charge up over time and when the MP meter is full, Sir Cacciatore is ready to unleash his ultimate attack.
Take no prisoners!
Settings
In the settings screen, you will be able to:
- Change from smooth to instant step
- Change how fast you transition from tile to tile
- Change the main, sound effects, and music volumes
- Save/Load the game
- Quit to the main menu
Known Bugs
Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of time to fix (or find!) all the bugs in the short time of the game jam and some unfortunate thing slipped through our testers, who definitely exist.
Here's what we've found so far:
- Reloading a save game also respawns all the mobs.
- More an omission than a bug, but you have to use Alt-F4 to quit.
- Once the reach the end of the game, it just starts over.
- Don't try to save and load during combat. The behavior is... undefined...

very good
